  • Other health care providers to whom a referral has been made by a Tribal physician/dentist.

The KBIC Pharmacy is a closed, Tribal 340B Rural Health Center Pharmacy, staffed by qualified pharmacy professionals and provides direct pharmacy services.  You must be a registered patient at the KBIC Medical Clinic to obtain pharmacy services.

Our hours of business are 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We are closed from 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch. We have also begun using “e-prescribing”. “E- Prescribing” occurs when your doctor sends in the prescription during your office visit. The prescription
then goes to a clearinghouse, payment sources are verified, and the prescription is sent to the KBIC pharmacy computers. This process takes about 10 minutes, and then it is forwarded to the tech computer here at KBIC.

Interactive Voice Response System for Medication Refills:
At KBIC Pharmacy, we understand the importance of convenience and accessibility when it comes to managing your medications. That's why we have implemented an innovative Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for medication refills. With this user-friendly automated system, you can easily request refills, check the status of your prescription, check pharmacy hours and receive important notifications, all from the comfort of your own home. Outside health care providers can also verbally call-in your prescriptions to our pharmacy using this system. Our IVR system ensures efficiency and accuracy, saving you valuable time and simplifying the medication management process.

As soon as the tech gets your prescription, the refill process begins!

About prescription refills

If you have no remaining refills on medications, call our medication refill line at (906) 353-4556. We request 72 hours notice (3 working days) to process prescriptions for medication renewals.

When you have had a referral from the KBIC physician, all prescriptions written by that provider can be filled at the KBIC Pharmacy. Patients should inform the KBIC provider of the new medication added at their next visit.

*Note: If you are an employee and try to dial 4-5-5-5, this will not trigger the automated system. You MUST dial the full number: 353-4555.
